Lately, we have been doing quite a bit of research on medicinal plants for preppers and herbal remedies. In the United States we have been taught to “pop a pill” when we feel sick or have an ailment, but there might come a time when this isn’t an option.
This could be an economic collapse, a personal SHTF situation or even something much bigger. In these cases, you may not be able to find or afford the medicine you or a family member needs in order to survive.
Natural and herbal remedies have been around probably as long as we have. Long before there were pharmaceutical companies that were only looking out how to pad their pockets, there have been treatments that work and help those who have chronic conditions that they need medicine in order to manage the condition.
So let’s consider there were no doctors. And let’s also consider what if there were no pharmacy for you to get your monthly prescriptions? What would you do? Would you be able to treat your condition? Would you be able to survive?
It seems to me the difference between conventional, or modern medical treatment and homeopathic treatments differ because modern treatments seem to treat the symptoms of a disease, where homeopathic treatments focus on treating the underlying causes that lead to the disease.
If you suffer from conditions such as diabetes, depression, arthritis, hypertension, or a myriad of other conditions it is in your best interest to come up with a plan now, as well as do everything you can for your condition.
